    Barry Sheene's 1979, Yoshimura Dunstall Suzuki GS1000

I never heard about this bike before.
Was looking up the Dunstall Norton 810, when I read that Paul Dunstall moved on to tuning Japanese bikes during the mid 70s.

"Only fe' collected the old way, has any value." from His Majesty O'Keefe (1954 film)
1982 GS1100G- road bike, body, seat and suspension modded
    1990 GSX750F-(1127cc '92 GSXR engine) track bike, much re-engineered
1987 Honda CBR600F Hurricane; hooligan bike, restored

I think from memory Sheene only rode it once. I've seen it advertised for sale several times over the years and the full history is pretty well known.
Dunstall got into offering cosmetic kits for the 550, 750 and 1000. Pipes too. The race bike was I think a way of getting publicity for the road bike kits.
Certainly there was no Dunstall backed racing of Suzukis in the way he raced Nortons.

I quite like the GS1000CS ... clocked at 153mph by Motor Cycle News who went from not believing the specs to astonished.
      Listed by Heron Suzuki GB.
