Not so much a track/race bike as an "everybike" but it sees enough road course time. 2006 CBR600RR. Currently charging towards 35k miles on the clock, and still putting down a smidge over 110rwhp. The bike has been topped out on a road course, been ridden 1200+ miles in 3 days from Wyoming to Texas, and serves as my daily rider as well.
Has about every non internal performance mod imaginable, and a few not so imaginable:
Yoshimura RS-5 Slip on
K&N filter
Power Commander III with performance tune
manual cam chain tensioner
velocity stacks
air box baffle delete
PAIR mod
emissions delete
o2 delete
-1f/+1r 520 gearing
bridgestone battlax 003r/s tires (120/70 & 190/55)
EBC HH pads f&r
Pazzo shorty levers
Arata 1000rr rearsets
HotBodies DB windscreen.
And some other aesthetic/lighting mods like an integrated tail light, HIDs, and LEDs galore. I did the paint myself which is a mix of corvette red, mazda burnt orange, some black pearl clearcoat, and chameleon metal flake. The clearcoat actually looks purple under bright sunlight, and orange under fluorescent.
If I pull some extra money this summer, I'm going to put racetech springs and valves in the forks, and upgrade to ss brake lines/dot5.Comment

Flaming Chainsaws
My friend lets me ride his bike for racing a lot. He doesn't even ride this one anymore since he now has a Honda CBR900. I ride this way more than him and I hardly ever go to the track.
It's a Kawasaki ZX600.
Homemade bell mouths/velocity stacks
. It's kinda amazing that they pass this bike for tech

I just looked back at this & noticed something is fishy with your numbers. My bike is 630 with me on it at the line, ready to make a pass. My best ever 60 is a 1.33 but I run the clutch soft to run the same everywhere. I run a full kill 5 speed with no auto & throw the clutch lever. I make 140 at the rear wheel, same as you, & run 5.71 @ 117 in the 1/8th. I also run right at 10,000-10,500 through the lights in the quarter. 15/48 gearing, 7800 rpm launch speed. My bike runs 9.19-9.30s in the quarter pretty much wherever I go close to sea level. I don't get how your bike is 70 pounds LIGHTER & is slower, with a QUICKER 60 foot?!!! Not trying to be critical but what am I missing? What ALL is in your motor because that is a LIGHT bike weight with you on it?!!! Thanks, Ray.i go through the traps at 10000 rpm's i do have a slider clutch along with a 1-2 auto trans i have been a best 1.27 60 ft and 5.79@117 in the 1/8 mile . total weight bike and me weigh in at 560 lbs i am about 140 at the back wheelComment

Great Lakes against a snowmobile

this is a 9:08 pass. 1:34 60' short time and 145 out the back door.
[(5:74/119) 8'th]
#690 total weight -- Finally I have this thing repeating in tight window for bracket racing. 12-1comp, web.348's, and RS 36 really get it on when matched up to a slider and correct gear ratio. I leave pretty soft too, 2 steping at 4500 and 5000 stall . full lock up at 7000 rpm. shift promptly at 10K 1-2-3 auto and ride the shift light in 5'th gear thru the traps 'bout 10,200 ratio 15-49 .SUZUKI , There is no substituteComment
