Katana Lovers - Steve Martin, Phillip Island on a Kat

That was my plan yeah. Probably looking to get a mid 90's sport bike. Either teapot Katana, or a ZX7, or if I can find one I'd really prefer a GSXR. Something that makes a little bit more power, but can be had for cheap. I like the sound of a 1500 track bike. That way when I bin it in turn 2 I didn't just loose 10 grand on a modern supersport

A lot of club race track guys really like the SV650's and the tried and true Ninja 500 also makes a fun and cheap track bike . I did a 2 day race school on a Ninja 500, and had an absolute BLAST ! Don't let anyone tell you you can go fast on a 500... you can for sure
