I agree, it's a dragbike if it has a slick OR a wheelie bar. ESPECIALLY if it has a wheelie bar! Also, not a very well sorted one either because it left like a POOCH!! Ray.

Well I spent the weekend putting a longer swing arm on my 85 GS1150. It is at 65'' wheel base now if I can manage a 1.50 60' footer I think it will run close to 9.50's index on the motor. Getting it ready to run street fighter class at Bradenton in April.

Seen too many slicks on the street but i do agree on the wheelie bar part.
Only posted to it to keep the thread going and to show a fast GS.

Thanks, it is far from a true street bike.

                      I see it like this

full on race bike = slick - wheelie bar purpose built anything goes .

pro street = out board start/mod clutches / super long grudge wb is another thing --7's wow good job.

D.O.T. tires, stock clutch, insured and currently licensed , fully equiped with lights and horn ..no longer than 68"- self starting - ridden to and from track. that is how I divide things up

I'll never be the fastest ,but I like the way bracket racing equalizes everyone.

good job everyone under 14 seconds

Besides the already-mentioned flat slick and wheelie bar, here's a couple more things which are not street bike parts:
                          slider clutch
                          auto trans
