    Man Cup race at SGMP

The 3rd race in the Man Cup race series is August 1st thru 3rd at SGMP in South Georgia. I guess I am going back for another beating.

You shouldn't be taking beatings with a mentor like Roy Hagadorn. The locals around here used to call him the "king".........I have raced him before......Billy

Roy is one of the best bracket racers around. We have been racing together for many many years. But he won't be there he is boycotting the Man Cup races because they did not pay him his $1000 prize money for getting the #1 plate in Street Fighter class. His first year running a no bar street fighter and he wins the #1 plate on his no bar Busa he built to race the street fighter class. Jay says Vance n Hines did not pay what they agreed on and he could not afford to cover a V/H bail out.
But I will be there running in street et. With so much work right now I just don't have time to finish my pro et bike.
I used to be a really good bracket racer too but took a decade off of racing after a back injury and some heart troubles and just like everything else you have to stay in practice to stay good.

So anyway who's all going to the Man Cup race?
      Are you going BadBilly?

This next race was supposed to be in Atlanta but they are an NHRA track and would not let the street et bikes run 9.99 or quicker without Competion license and SGMP is a IHRA track and let you run what you want to in the sportsman or bracket classes. So they moved it to SGMP

Last race at SGMP paid $1500 to the Sunday street et winner because it pays by entry's not just a set purse

I am thinking about taking my Bandit instead of the yellow GS to the man cup race next weekend. Jr. Is not going so I could take the Burgundy Beast if I want to. Bandit runs mid 9's GS runs mid 10's
            Which one should I take?

I was actually thinking of bringing both If I have enough room in the trailer. But I would only ride one of course. I let other riders race my bikes I get 1/2 of any prize money won. I raced another guys bike for a whole season one year. The Yellow GS is still set up for pro et with the delay box and slider clutch on it. Got the BALLS to launch a no bar bike off a 2-step. It is a slow bike at 10.60,s. You got to buy you plain ticket though. If you come you can race it.

Wish I had the time. July has been hectic... But I sure appreciate the offer. And it sounds fun off the 2 step... Just lean forward a lot!

We'll took another beating on Sunday. Not quite as bad though I won the first two rounds but no money winner. I did score on a nice track photo

Actually I can say it was not a fun weekend at the track.
I was really thinking of leaving on Saturday but Sunday was supposed to be cooler but it was HOTTER. And I work in the Florida heat it was he'll on earth there.
I won' be going back until it cools down some
