I wonder if the $184K is anywhere near what the bike costs to make.
Toyota was said to have lost bags of money on every one of their carbon fiber cars.
Or maybe the thought is that they have spent all the money for design already and that actually building a few more of the bikes would not be that expensive but would get Honda a lot of high end publicity.
The likelihood of ever seeing one an an actual road is remote. Someone will be trying to sell one of these in 20 years for a million.Comment

From what I have read the US version will be majorly neutered to around 100bhp with no option whatsoever to buy the race kit.

Honda does what it wants and these bikes will sell in a flash.
It's a cross between the factory race bike and the customer bike that Nicky Hayden rode, so, no pneumatic valves but a great handling bike with a ton of power
