I dunno, until they list some real specs like weight and power, I'm not gonna buy…

I wonder if the $184K is anywhere near what the bike costs to make.

Toyota was said to have lost bags of money on every one of their carbon fiber cars.

Or maybe the thought is that they have spent all the money for design already and that actually building a few more of the bikes would not be that expensive but would get Honda a lot of high end publicity.

The likelihood of ever seeing one an an actual road is remote. Someone will be trying to sell one of these in 20 years for a million.

From what I have read the US version will be majorly neutered to around 100bhp with no option whatsoever to buy the race kit.

So you're buying it now? Excellent. May I ride it a little? I'll be really careful.

OK, but no need to be careful, I wanna see you crash test it.
Not a problem for me, I'll insure the bike.

Another example of why Honda has their heads up their A##'s in the US market. I am sure Jay Leno will buy one.

Honda does what it wants and these bikes will sell in a flash.

It's a cross between the factory race bike and the customer bike that Nicky Hayden rode, so, no pneumatic valves but a great handling bike with a ton of power

If that's what you're looking for
                    1978 GS 1000 (since new)
1979 GS 1000 (The Fridge, superbike replica project)
                    1978 GS 1000 (parts)
                    1981 GS 850 (anyone want a project?)
                    1981 GPZ 550 (backroad screamer)
                    1970 450 Mk IIID (THUMP!)
                    2007 DRz 400S
                    1999 ATK 490ES

There is no such thing as a 184,000 dollar motorcycle.
