gs 1100 sprocket size with 750 ratio s/c gears

Im looking for starting point for 1/4 mile rear sprocket size with 750 ratio crank/clutch gears
I have a 17" rear wheel with 50 series shinko and 16 tooth front sprocket that I am not changing
    this is a new build: 1260 10.5-1,390 cams,ported head 1150 valves,rs 36 carbs
I read on APE's tip section that you run 6-7 teeth less than 1100 ratio
I never had a base setting before this build

      no,not at all.
      thankyou
even someone running a 16 front sprocket with a 17" rear with 1100 ratio would help
All my friends at track run newer bikes,so no help there

6-7 teeth LESS teeth than with the 1100 ratio clutch gear. 15/40 would be a good start.
