Getting ready for Sturgis Rally Drags

Been racing the 'Busa all last season and this at Sturgis Dragway. Up until last weekend, I won exacty one round in all that time.
Sturgis rally coming up in a few weeks and want to run one of the index classes along with Street ET, so I took my old reliable GS/ET out of the garage last weekend.
Proved to be a good move. Won saturday with a field of 8 and again on Sunday against 13 bikes with first round buy back in effect. Dialed 7.90 and left it there all weekend. Broke out twice but by less than the other guy and never went slower than 8.08 Thinking that's not to bad for a guy weighing in at 260 suited and altitude of 4250'.

Just an FYI, but many of us would love to see some shots at the strip.

Here are a couple I shot at Lone Star Motorsports Park in Sealy, Tx. Not sure who the riders are.

1982 GS1100 G converted by Motorcyclist magazine in 1986 to be a tribute to the Wes Cooley replica. 1982 Honda 900F. 1997 Yamaha VMax.
Also owned: 1973 Kawasaki Z1 900, 1972 Honda 750 K, 1976 Yamaha XS 650, 1980 Kawasaki KZ 1000 MKII, 1978 Kawasaki SR 650. Current cage is a 2001 Mustang Bullitt in Dark Highland Green. Bought new in Sept. 2001.
