I don't think so, he would've lost a lot of time getting to pit lane from the starting grid. More time than when he was flagged in....

      MotoGP COTA.

Another penalty to Marquez during Q2, this time for slow riding.

Should be a good race tomorrow.

+1. It was a snoozer for most of the weekend. Moto3 wasn't bad, but even it was dull by the usual standards of the class.

Well, here's hoping Jerez is a whole lot better. Best race of the weekend was probably Moto America's superbike race #1 on Saturday.

imo they need to move it to a motorcycle track...not a car track. Laguna would be nice to see again.

Zarco to KTM and looks certain Whoregay Lorenzo has signed for Suzuki in 2019.
                    Are Suzuki mad??????????
Next question is who will fill the spot on the Ducati?

That would be an improvement. The Austin track is painfully dull and produces terrible racing.

2019 should be an interesting year. I can't believe Yamaha didn't find a way to keep Zarco and get a factory bike under him. Suzuki might not be crazy, maybe they are willing to kiss Jorge's ass and give him whatever he wants. When he is happy with the bike and has the front end feel he needs he is still blazingly fast. Still a douchebag, too.

Blame Rossi. He's taking up one of the rides even though he rarely competes for wins any more. Don't take me wrong, I love watching the guy. But if both he and Zarco had the same bike I'd put my money on Zarco over the course of a season of results.

I would likely take Zarco as well. The thing is with Rossi until last year he was second in the championship for 3 years running. He certainly isn't the Rossi of old, but he is as competitive as a very large chunk of the grid.

No comments about Jerez yet? It looked like bowling with bikes from here...

Moto GP wasnt that exciting really, Dani was so unlucky to get taken out by Whoregay. Crutchlow fell off again and the Yamaha's were nowhere.
Moto3 on the other hand........ well that was another crash fest but really fun to watch those young hooligans
