A opportunity for those outside Australia t see the action.
Phillip Island is an amazing track in a great location.
I've been to two Island Classic meetings and three MotoGps. Great racing at all of them.
The bonus with Classic meetings is open access to the pits and the riders.Johno

Little late to the show, here's a link to the second race. Lot's of Kat's in there and phenomenal racing of 35 y/o bikes. What is a 83 Yamaha FJ1250? FJ1100's didn't come out till '84.

Right, I had the same thought, but looks like only the engine block is OEM.
I did look up the Yamaha TZ750, never heard of those before. They were absolutely killer bikes!!!

They're a rule bender for the International races. IMO dubious at best but the organisers let them run. Usually in a replica XR69 chassis.
One of them turned up locally recently. No idea how or why it was brought here to NZ. It runs in our pre 89 class - which is where it should be.Comment
