He used to say "trevor, anyone can go fast with wheelie bars, it takes talent to go fast without".
And trust me, he was fast. Sorry...but a 550 under no circumstances needs a wheelie bar.
with bracket racing a wheelie bar would help me a lot to keep being consistent. just because some of us cant always do the same launch everytime doesnt mean there are other ways to help. i have broken my left wrist a few times so slipping the clutch isnt easy for me expecially when at the strip trying to launch at 9500 rpms lol and why not start out with a wheelie bar on a smaller bilke and stay consistent and than worry about slowly going faster and faster?? thats how i have always gotten better start slow and progress when ready. rather than go balls out on a 9 second bike and not be able to handel it safely and consistant. and seriousy, how many people bracket race a gs550??? its cool too.
