    Loose spark plugs

What causes my spark plugs to come loose. This has happened twice now which causes it to run like crap. The first time it was the #1 plug and this last time it was the #2 plug. I check them before I ride and they are all tight, but as I'm riding one of them will come loose and the rest are still tight? any suggestions on how this could happen and the best fix to keep them from doing this would be appreciated.

    Use new washers?
    Torque them in?
Are the threads in the head worn out?

New washers/ plugs. Correct torque. Use anti seize on the threads...

          And are the threads worn?
I have never had one come loose that was properly installed, except when the threads were worn badly.

I'll have to check the threads tomorrow to see how they look.

If they are horrible you can get a helicoil put in... Some people say they can do it without removing head too....

You could also try a different brand of plug as possible the thread tolerances may be a little different and could help you.

Are you suggesting that if he rode from the equator to the north pole, they might tighten?
