LOL...the wind was doing about 40 here this afternoon so I recommended we do it in my dining room. Course what surprised me was that Cdnoel rode his bike out to my place. Although I asked him to so I could see it, I didn't think he would with the weather we had today. I will say he's got a great looking bike; I hope mine can look that good when I am done with it.Cowboy Up or Quit. - Run Free Lou and Rest in Peace

1/8 drill bit and 6/32 screw.
It's a 6/32 screw and a 1/8 drill bit. Fit's nice without any taping but the taper on the thread helps get it started. It's defenitely a shade tree job but I've done four now and they all worked out fine.
I've replaced carbs on my own bike with less damage but found reason to save others with more damage. Just depends on if you can find one or if you have the time to.
I think a 4mm screw with taped threads would be an improvment but most taps have a sharp point that would bottom out or not start at all on a hole this shallow.Comment

I am totally trying this tomorrow! Mine just broke this evening - so choked.. Will definitely be supporting the other side of the posts from now on. I didn't realize they'd be so stiff coming out; my Kawi KZ had circlips on the outside and the pins just slid out.Comment
