front brake light switch spring option

i took apart my front brake switch for the rear light to clean and try to get working again. i read basscliffs post on his page and what happend? i lost the spring. the only thing i could think of was how can i find a spring this small? i took apart a click pen and behold the spring inside will fit and work. i had to use some wire cutters and trim the length but but fit and works. wallah!

That's the standard replacement part, even in a main agents (well it was when I worked there).

In years to come, archaeologists will wonder what on earth all those thousands of lost brake switch springs could have been used for and at the same time laugh at all the pens that never seemed to work.....
