    Stripped bolt

I just discovered that last time I reinstalled the valve cover on my 550 I stripped out one of the bolts. I know a helicoil is probably the best fix, but I don't want to have to buy a whole kit for just one bolt as they are pretty expensive.
What advise do you all have? is there somewhere I can get a helicoil kit cheap?
My work has lots of them, but they are all standard. I'd like to keep things metric if possible.

Have you been to Oreilly's or Autozone? I picked up one for my oil pan bolt and paid no more than 7 dollars.
