I can't find my digital camera so I haven't taken any pictures yet. As soon as I do, I will post pictures of the midpipe/collector connection and the mounting modifications. 35K on the bike and it's running fine.

The 99-00 have the Black Mid-Pipes, and the LEFT one is the ONLY one that is removable @ the Mid Section via a CLAMP.
the 01 maybe 02 UP have the Polished SS Mid-Pipes, and BOTH are removable Via Clamps.
They would work maybe on the Chrome Factory Exhausts(4-2) or the (4-1)
plenty of choices out there, your right they are a dime-a dozen.
