The lead weight in my 28 year old right mirror was driving me nuts rattling. So drilled a hole to fill it full of foam. This is the result ! A funnier picture would have been with me covered in foam.

Just use epoxy to re-secure the weight and get a mirror cut at an auto glass dealer.
It should be cheaper than a mirror and it will not have the ugly peeling of the silvered surface. -
Hey, glad to see you weathered the storm ! Obviously, you have power, either that or you got the back wheel of the 550 running a generator ! Not to worried about the mirror. Visablety sucked with it anyway. Gonna put on a bar end.Comment
