Simple fix to an annoyance with battery terminals

brilliant! - now that is out of the box thinking!
I usually have similar brainwaves- but must admit I have never thought of that and I do have the exact problem! put glue and grease and all sorts to hold the nut in place.

I snip two small pieces of the clear tubing that comes with them and do the same thing.

Ditto, same that i do, works great. But i prefer the batteries with the thick nuts.

Save those crusty carb drain hoses now and then ..you can snip pieces from them to stuff under the nuts too.

So...you have a crusty hose stuffed under your nuts?
