Sir, you are my hero! I have been trying to find a copy of the below Kerker ad for years. Back in the mid 80's I was dating a young lady that had an uncanny resemblance to the woman in this ad. Other than the fact that my '83 1100E had a Supertrapp pipe this pic could have been taken on my bike with my (then) girl:

Of course, now that I am happily married to a much better woman I rarely ever think of old "What's Her Name"...............

Our main purpose, in an unorganized fashion, is to do little more than engage in anecdotal stories and idle chit-chat while providing little or no actual useful information. And, of course, ride a lot and have tons of fun.....in a Krusty manner."

        Glad

Now I am happy that at least someone appreciates all the scanning and effort.
And, The one that you marry is the keeper and the past only "haunts" you, right?

Actually, yes. I definitely married a keeper 15 years later and "What's Her Name" was a bit flighty and would never have made a good wife. But she did have some good points which are hard to forget......real hard.

          Thanks again,

Flighty makes them fun even if unreliable and definately not a keeper. But fun to play with.

I would have to agree. Too bad they don't use those tricks anymore to sell stuff. What a shame.

                        More!

Okay, I have scanned some more. Let me know what you think. Yes, there is a few Kawi things as well.
Now, I would like to find the Hot Rod magazine article titled "Gentlemans Express" from the early-mid '80's.
                        Anybody got?

Greg (gmansyz) sent me some hard copy pics quite a while back. It has taken some time but I have finally completed the intended project of having them scanned and cleaned up then printed. When this project started I had access to a printer in our company demo center but lost that access so it took some time to find someone to print the pics for a reasonable price (free). Below are the cleaned up scans I have been able to get printed. All are printed on decent quality 11x17 inch paper. I have a handful of each print and would be willing to send out one set each on a first-come, first-served basis. I am asking for a small donation of $10 to help defray the cost of shipping tubes and postage. I'm not looking to make any money on this deal but also don't want to lose money.

                          Thanks,
                          Joe

I wonder if we could create a folder for all these articles? I have a bunch of Joe Minton articles, Custom Rider magazine articles and other How to articles from cam timing, valve lash to period road tests

                            Just wondering
