    1980 550L Speedo Cable Replacement

Anyone know if there ismamtrick to removing the wheel end of the speedometer cable on a 1980 Suzuki GS550L? There is no room to get a wrench on the end of it between the fork and the rim. Any help would be appreciated.

Loosen the axle, rotate the speedo drive to where you can get a pair of pliers on it.
