    Battery terminal nut stay

This was mentioned by derwood in another thread. Saved me some time reconnecting the battery. Just a small piece of vacuum hose tucked under the nut makes it a lot easier to start tightening the bolt.

    Thanks derwood.

If you took out a battery with a vent hose, a piece of that hose works well, too.

Great idea, thanks Burque 73. I have fished for that nut more than once.

Thanks! That is a good idea...I was thrilled the new battery came with new bolts/ square nuts, after losing the old ones twice and finding and losing one square nut, and searching LOL...Good idea.
