    Fork Tube Identififixation

Does anyone have dimensions for a 1980 and 1982 GS850 fork tube? One has a 3/4” wide groove at the bottom with a split bushing. The other is wider with no bushing.

It might be time to go fiche-ing.

2016 XL883L sigpic Two-tone blue and white. Almost 42 hp! Status: destroyed, now owned by the insurance company. The hole in my memory starts an hour before the accident and ends 24 hours after.

I believe the one with the bushing at bottom is for forks with forward axle, plain one for forks with axle under.
