After starting to go over my GS1150 for the new riding season I noticed that the left dampener doesn't adjust. The right one seems to move fine, but with the left, the black knob turns, but I know the dampener is not adjusting. I think the knob is just spinning. I seem to remember some time ago that these are not rebuildable. Has anybody had anything to do with any repair of the GS1150 dampeners? I don't remember in recent history of changing the fork oil and I'm thinking of putting in some Progressive Springs. I don't know if new oil will fix the dampener. It's not that I change the settings on these, but I find it annoying when there is something not working properly.
