When I got my bike the anti-dive unites were replaced with block off plates.
After I rebuilt my suspension, progressive springs, new seals and bushings, actual oil inside, etc., I put the block off plates back on...
Now the ride was very, very harsh...

A little research indicated the problem was with the block off plates blocking the oil flow...
In effect, it was like having the anti-dive engaged at all times...
I could have made new, thicker plates with a relief to allow the oil to flow, but I found an easier method.
Thanks to TheCafeKid, I obtained some old anti-dive units, cleaned them, painted them, block off the line connection and bleeder, and TaDA!....working suspension...
Just in the garage the difference is quite noticeable...I'll be going for a ride in a couple hours to check it out...
Pics of the new addition...
