I want to give huge THANK YOU to whoever reccomended Battlax BT45R tires for my 1986 GS1150E ( I think (Bwringer) I went with the 140 Rear and 120 Front. It is amazing the difference it has made in the handling characteristics of the bike. It has totally neutral steering and great "flickability". This forum and your accumulated experience and wisdom certainly enhances the GS experience. This from a died in the wool Harley guy up until the fall of 2008 when I acquired a 1983 GS1100E. It is all history thereafter.

Sure, I'll probably get a Harley out for the Memorial Day Parade. But then on the GS and out to the twisties for the rest of the day..
