        Hi,

I think you want the #11-1106 springs. I found them at MAW on this page:

Note: When searching MAW using the manufacturer's part number, leave out any dashes (-).

        Thank you for your indulgence,

          lesliew51,koolaid_kid and basscliff.
          Thanks for your replies.

Lesliew51, thanks i can buy them locally but i thought i found them cheap.

Koolaid, i assumed that they still made them, but unless i was really drunk last time i looked i thought that MAW had them for about US$65. I was probably wrong. Thanks for links.

          Basscliff,
          I have a gs1000g, i think i want the 11-1107?
I believe you have an 850, any ideas on that?

          Cheers all for your help.

MAW used to have them cheap, but not now. They have a good price on 530 RK O-ring chains though.

              Hi,

A 1000G? Well that's a horse of a different color. Yes, you'll want the 11-1107, same as my 850G. Sorry for my confusion.

Mr. Nessism is correct. When I bought my Progressive springs, MAW had the best price. That may not be the case any more.

              Thank you for your indulgence,

                  Thanks Terry.
I just got them for US$58, which i think is bloody cheap.
Landed on my door in OZ, that is $110 in my dollars.
Local dealer wanted 170, and that was him not making much(they said).
So thanks again mate, i owe you a beer.

I was going to order some but I got tired of trying to find ones that fit my 80 1100L. They need to make their website a little mor user friendly lol.

Just an extra question if anyone cares to read it.

Is the only difference between the 1980 1000G forks and other 1980 1000 forks the springs?
I assume the tubes are the same diameter because the seals are the same.

The reason i ask is that i have my original forks, but i also have a set from the wreckers. They both fit my triple trees, and i was thinking of using the top of one lot and the bottom of the other.
Before i bother pulling both apart can anyone see a problem with this?
Also, the forks from the wreckers are air adjust, whereas the standard ones are not.

                              Cheers for any input.
