Hello everyone, I have a 1985 gs1150e chassis and want to put Maybe just the top part of the triple tree on my 82 gs1100 gl shaft and was wondering if anyone has experience with the conversion? Can I take just the top part and switch them?? the 85 has the 2 piece handle bars.

1150 clamps are wider and have less offset than yours.
you could swap the entire 1150 assembly as they are 37mm...the same as your 1100 tubes. -
i thought about doing the whole front end...it has the adjustable looking front forks, will the spacing not effect the wheel installation??Comment
