    Gold Valves in GS1000 forks

Has anyone used Gold Valves in GS1000 37mm fork tubes. Please rate the improvement?

    Thanks,

    gold valves

I had yss emulators in my forks.
    I consider them absolutely essential
After I did the modification i didnt notice a huge difference although they were nicer to use
Now Im back on standard forks and the first opportunity I have I am doing the modification again
I am finding my wrists get a hammering that I never noticed before
I also have less confidence in the front end
Expensive at 100 per fork just for the valves but you wont regret it
(you have to drill some holes in the pushrods for the emulators to work

Thanks, I'm trying to figure out what I want for suspension.

If you want decent suspension with modest cost, consder Progressive springs and 10w fork oil.

Progressive recommends 15w oil, but I found my wrists hurting, too. A switch to 10w oil fixed that.
