Are the rear shocks on a GS1000 the same as a GS750 ie the same length, could you use one for the other????

you can probably can find out by looking at any shock manufacturers parts listing,(progressive for example) but from my memory all of the larger (750+) E models have the 13" eye to clevis shocks( not all equal quality though I'm sure).

Hi,
If you're talking stock OEM shocks (used?), if they are the same length and use the same mounting hardware, they will fit. Whether they will perform properly is another story. The spring rate might be different. The Suzuki part numbers are different.
