Bad idea! I bought some cheap to get me through the summer - they didn't make it through the first day before they started liberating their oil.

Looked into Progressive 12- or 14- series shocks and springs?

i posted this, then went and bought new shocks online. I came back to delete it but you guys are to fast!

Which ones did you buy?

I've used stock shocks on most of my various GS bikes and they have been fine. Unless you are a heavyweight, the stock parts are decent enough assuming they are not worn out.
