    Master cylinder

My master cylinder isn't moving fluid, I cleaned it, removed the lever and found...

Forgive a man's ignorance but is this why it won't move the brake fluid? If so, rebuild kit?

That is just a dust boot. Take it apart and see how it looks inside.

Yep, you need to remove all that lot and really clean it. A split dust boot won't affect anything.

Odds are it's pretty gooped up inside.
Rebuild it while you have it off.

        Great pic by the way..

I'm guessing it's all gunked up, remove the little boot and get some master cylinder snap ring pliers to pop off the ring inside. Or you can make your own tool. Then check all the components and see if the bore is okay and the piston. Rebuild it if necessary.
