How much bracing does the stock front mudguard do?

For better or worse it's done:





I need to take a file to the mounting holes as they're too far apart by about 1mm or so, but other than that it looks to be not too bad.

The only concern is if I've introduced an issue with fork travel where the guard will hit the bottom triple clamp and will it pinch the tacho cable?



Should be able to do something with the tacho cable and I can always knock some off the bottom of the brace to lower it somewhat.

Agemax, it didn't work out to be a work of art, but it seems to be functional at least...

hey Pete it looks good, are you gonna paint it or polish it? i would lower it a couple of inches, would give more fender clearance and better ridgity(?)......ridgididity????

just wet flat it with some medium wet and dry, use different grits till you get the look you like
