bleeding front brakes question

gday all,
I want to bleed my front brakes on 81 gs 650e.Thing is I think I have anti dive front forks so do I bleed at the calipers or do I start at the other bleeder on the forks first cheers.

i would start left anti dive, left caliper, right anti dive, right caliper

Agemax is correct!! I just did my 82 GS750EZ with anti-dive forks and that was the exact order I did, according to the manual.

Yep, rule is start bleeding from the furthest point from the master cylinder

says in the shop manual for the 83 1100, to bleed left anti-dive left caliper, right anti-dive right caliper. maybe its different.

It's a good idea to check to see if the anti-dive even still functions properly. When I still I had the stock forks on my bike I took mine apart and found the piston was frozen or something. I don't remember exactly what it was. This was when the bike was only 7 or 8 years old so these older bikes likely have some non-functioning units.
