    Piston gouging question

I am down to just rebuilding the front brakes before the beast is roadworthy. I have read about checking the piston for scoring and gouges prior to rebuilding. Would the great collective minds please tell me if this little bit of gouging is acceptable (non-essential area). The main "barrel" of the piston is exceptionally clean and smooth. If the pics don't show it, its one on each side on the top ring. I can't remember if I did it or the PO, so I'm gonna blame the PO. Thank you so much.

they will be fine to use, looks like "someone" used a pair of grips to pull the piston out
    1978 GS1085.

Just remember, an opinion without 3.14 is just an onion!
