    Aluminum allow wheel option?

I am redoing a 1978 750C, just for a rider. Can anyone tell me if,,,,. Were aluminum allow wheels an option in 1978?? I was told that they came with spoke wheels in 1978, but this one has aluminum allow wheels and the rear one is the wrong size for this bike. My next thing is to check the sprockets to see if they are the correct ones. My Clymer manual doesn't give that kind of information.

The E model came with aluminum wheels. Some dealers, or customers, installed these wheels on spoke wheel bikes too.

Excuse my spelling Bill, Alloy is correct. I have seen many, many incorret statements, but that isn't the "point".

The standard model had wire wheels and one front brake

The E model has the cast alloy wheels and two front brakes

Sprockets may not be correct size because a PO may have changed them out for different gearing, or possibly even done a 530 chain and sprocket conversion on it, which is pretty common.
