The shock will fit with some swapping of hardware. You have to flip it upside down, though. You'll also find the spring on the gixxer shock is way too stiff. If you get the proper GSXR shock, you can take the spring off of the 550's shock and put it on the gixxer shock body. If I recall, I used an '01 or '02 gixxer shock to do this - your mileage may vary.

Others on here will know about the forks - as far as I know, I think it should bolt up, but hopefully someone else can chime in. They're more than likely a bit too short, too.
