    Front brake rebuild

    I can't find a front brake rebuild for a '77 gs750. I have found a rear brake, and a front for an 80-83 here:
    http://www.partsnmore.com/parts/suzuki/gs750/?filters[category]=chassis

Will a kit for those years work for my bike and just have twice as many pieces for the dual discs? or is it a completely different caliper? Thanks for any help on this..

If the parts are available, order the boots and seals necessary to rebuild them from the factory. At least for me, that was the cheapest way to O/haul the front calipers on my GS1000EC.

follow the rebuild guided provided on BasCliffs web site

order the parts from the many bike parts places, IE Boulevard Suzuki, expect a long wait time

strip everything down, see if you need new pistons, if not just order all the rubber parts, boots, seals, etc

clean everything up really well, and reassemble, once your parts are in

        some pics of my brakes

Are you doing a restoration project of some kind on a GS? Let everyone see what you are doing by posting the details here.

I bought a rebuild kit from www.partshark.com for my rear caliper, looks like they have them for 77 gs750, so they should have it (they have different part numbers for B and EC). I bought the piston set for mine (my pistons were shot). Only cost a $10 or $15 more than the rubber pieces only, so made it easy.

i had to use an impact wrench on mine. bought some hex key bits, and they came right out.
