    Fork Seals

I'm doing some work on my 80' 750. I've yet to do fork seals, which is why I'm posting. I was looking at BikeCliffs site on the subject. I saw on the step by step they blew the seals out with air. My question is: will that destroy the seal?

It might do. But you're going to put in new ones anyway aren't you?

I don't think that it will destroy the seal being removed. But since you are replacing them anyways I don't think that it will matter a whole lot right?

Well, yeah, sort of...I want to just replace but I may not be able to this second. It doesn't look like any oil is seeping out but it seems that the forks are soft. I have the bike up on the lift right now so I wanted to inspect. I wasn't planning on doing the seals so I don't have the parts. I guess I'll call and see if I can get some seals in the next day or two. Thanks for the quick reply's.
