I'm looking for a front master cylinder for my 78gs1000 ec.....it's the asco type and all I have found is that they don't make them any more....i would love any help on this ....it's the last step before she is on the road

Find the bore of the front MC of the bike. Try the manual maybe, or just measure it yourself (maybe 5/8? that's what mine was). I just bought an '03 Yamaha FZ1 for $20 on eBay, and hopefully it fits
Any chance of rebuilding it as well? Would probably be a lot easier and cheaper if you could. -
Nope can't rebuilt it .....it's stuck Inside so the handle has nothing to push ontoComment
