    Help identify these rims

Picked up a set of these with a 78' 1000 parts bike. The bike has seen some track time, lots of track upgrades of the time including these rims. They look identical to my Italian Melber rims but do not have the 'Melber' stamp on them. I've yet to pull them off the bike and take the tire off to check their weight compared to a stock rim. Also the rear rim has a "150" tire on it Do they look familiar to anyone?

I don't know what wheels those are but they look to be nice and wide.

They look a LOT like the wheels that came on the Kawasaki Spectre.

I swung by Rob's yesterday to take a look, he found a little time capsule of the early 80's!

Very odd that there were no markings that either of us could find on the rims. I'm still leaning towards Morris at this time. I'm very familiar with the Kawasaki wheels, I have them on my ELR. The ones Rob have definitely aren't Kawi's. We compared the Melber's to them and they were very, very close. However, the Melber's are well marked and there's nothing on the ones he has.

Rob also received a tobacco pipe amongst the boxes of goodies that came with the bike. Maybe he should invest in a Sherlock Holmes hat and investigate further!

Who cares what wheels those are , all I want to know is when Rob is planning to sell off the spare parts.

I spy with my little eye... a master cylinder that Flyboy needs...

The rims are definitely Magnesium, far too light to be anything else. Not a single marking on them at all other than the bearings are marked from France, so maybe they are Melbers from Italy....goes with the Italian shocks on the bike Sorry Dale that front master is going on the 78' 1000' for Salty's brake upgrade. There are a ton of usable parts on the bike and I'll start posting them when I sort out what I'm not going to use. I'm a bit of a hoarder though so hopefully I can bare to part with something. Glenn managed to get a set of stock coils to replace the mismatched pair on his Coley and a non leaking rear brake reservoir so I'm sure I can let some other things go.
