What years of Ducati Monster shock fit GS1150?

Trying to make certain I get the right shock.

What years of Monster fit? 750/900 identical?

I've read that the spring is stiff. I weigh 230 in gear. Will it be sufficient?

I appreciate any information you guys can send my way.

    Merry Christmas!

M900 Shock. ON my 750 the shock with DUc spring only started to feel close with 170lb of Nephew on the back.

I'm about 165lb. It might still be too stiff even with you extra lb's and the extra lb's of the 1150.

The stock spring fits & the Duc shock lets you run more preload than the stocker...

Thank you! I have purchased one from a member and it is headed my way. I am looking forward to getting rid of the squishy wallow of the old, thrashed original shock and spring.

Guys, when installing the M900 shock, does it get installed upside down?

The air valve is on top facing the engine. Attach the top first and then jack the bottom of the shock to line up the holes.
I also supported the swing arm by crossing both sides with a 2x4 and a small jack.
