Has anyone used a '83- '85 750 front end on a GS550?

This for a '78 550.
I have the whole front end off one of these sitting here in good shape.



Any ideas how it would work, geometry, etc?

That is a non stock front end looking like a Katana.
Once you get past the head bearings, check the springs as they could be too soft. Height wise? Maybe a little shorter. Only one way to find out.

OK, yeah maybe the one I have is the stock one left over from when that one went on.

Can't remember, it's been sitting in the corner for years.
