Anyone here work there then? They are in Mableton Ga. The reason I ask is I had bought some fork seals part #51153-49001 they cross to a 1982 and others. I have a 1981 1100e part #51153-49000 ****ed off. Maybe I should have put a DB next to the title for (You guessed it) Douchebag. 10 yaers later could not get it right WTF, Another reason you do not want to let Dealers or anyone else to take care of it for you. Not sure if this is the right place to post.Is there a differance? I fell better now but I have not read the replys yet.

I cross ref the 1981e part# and it shows that it will work on a 1982e,82e part# does not cross to the 81 but I think I'm ok.

Not sure what you're after ,...but

part #51153-49000 was superceded by #51153-49001 which was superceded by 51153-08C20 apparently- used on lots of models 1978-82?

including the 81 gs1100E
