Lol...I only got 6000kms out of my rear tire and they were slick in the rain.
I am trying the sport demons on my 1100 right now and love them. Doubt I will get the Ks out of them like the Avons though.

Perfect, keep the options coming, Pete's superbike has the best prices so far on tires but they do not have a lot in stock for a rear tireComment

Where do Canadians buy tires???? DUHHH.....CANADIAN TIRE of course.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)
1978 GS 1000 E, 1979 GS 1000 S, 1973 Yamaha TX 750, 1977 Kawasaki KZ 650B1, 1975 Honda GL1000 Goldwing, 1983 CB 650SC Nighthawk, 1972 Honda CB 350K4, 74 Honda CB550
NEVER SNEAK UP ON A SLEEPING DOG..NOT EVEN YOUR OWN.
I would rather trust my bike to a "QUACK" that KNOWS how to fix it rather than a book worm that THINKS HE KNOWS how to fix it.Comment

I am a big fan of the BT45.
Great grip but not the greatest tread life.
For everyday riding i would look at the Bridgestone S11.
Good grip with great tread life.
I have bought 6 tires from Petes and been very happy.
Maybe you could go for a road trip and get them mounted there.

Cheaper to ship them from Pete's, just not a lot of selection for rear tires at the moment, I was gonna buy the bt-45's but was pursueded to buy Michelin pilot activ from an experienced motorcycle mechanicComment
