    Front brake(s) smoking

I decided to go for a short ride and noticed the bike would slow down real fast when i pulled in the clutch (without applying the front brake) so i pulled over and notice one side was smoking and both disks were real hot ,sizzled when touched with a damp finger i see fluid in the area but i also noticed one of the fork seals is leaking down on it do need to rebuild them or you think its the fork oil on one side, it really weierd that both disks were that hot though any ideas guys oh yeah the disks are now discolored THANKS

Still running the stock rubber brake lines? Ever tear down the brake system and clean out all the chunkies? Change the brake fluid every year?

This is really dangerous, the wheel can lock up and dump you even if you don't touch the brake at all. It is absolutely common on bikes that have not had the fluid changed out in a few years as Ed says. There are a few things it could be, all caused by rust clogging something up, which is caused by water in the brake fluid. All will be fixed by a complete brake teardown, clean them all out, new rubber bits if needed, and new lines.

Along with the new lines and full clean-out, be sure to clean out the tiny little equalizer port in the bottom of the master cylinder reservoir.
