    what paint for master cylinder?

Seems like a satin black powder coat finish initially...which has deteriorated over time. I knocked off the loose stuff & would like to just get a small can of spray bomb to spruce it up while all apart.

Thanks, I also figured I'd pop it in the oven to bake for added protection, I did this with the carb bodies which have held up perfectly so far.

Check the instructions carefully on the can for curing temps and time between coats etc..
Also the brake fluid needs to be cleaned off thoroughly before painting, I used simple green and then hot soapy water then rinse with hot water, compressed air and then blow dry to make sure the part is warm before painting.
I also warm the can in a hot water before painting, as it flows a lot better.
