The brake line has a split in it. I was going to cut it out and place an union in the line. Anyone done this before, got any tips?

I wouldnt splice a brake line myself. replace with an in tact one for your safety and piece of mind would be my advice.MY BIKES..1977 GS 750 B, 1978 GS 1000 C (X2)

Adding extra joints into a pressure line puts another point of failure into the system.
I'd replace it and investigate why it split in the first place.'83 GS650G
