The fork tubes are in the triple tree, middle pinch blots just snug so they don't slide out, and the air couplers are installed up top as per the manual.
My question is, is there a specific order in which to tighten the fork tubes so that when it comes time to install the front axle, the wheel runs true. (Top first, partial torque, then middle, etc) I remember reading somewhere that when changing the front tire, it's a good idea to loosen the fork bolts, install the tire/wheel assy, then re-torque the fork tubes to ensure the forks are "twisted".
Should I install the other side, and install the front wheel before torqueing any of the pinch bolts on the tubes?
Am I dreaming/wasting my time? The service manual is vague about reinstalling the fork tubes, and I thought I might call on the vast knowledge of the forum.
I did so some searching before this post, and didn't find anything regarding this.
Thanks,
Jason
