    Gs1000et standard gas shocks

    Hi there.
    I'm new to the forum.
I have a very standard black GS1000E from late 1979. Although standard in all ways except some fasteners, it has cheap replacement shocks on.
So I just bought these (see picture below) from ebay in Germany.
They haven't arrived yet but wondered if anyone can tell me anything about them, does anyone have them and are they ok? Any tips?
    Thanks

Looks like those shocks have a round eyelet on both ends, which means they won't fit on a chain drive 1000. Maybe from a shaft drive 1000G? They didn't offer air shocks on the 1000G for the US market, but not sure about Germany.

Those look like clevis to me. I am just wondering if the tops are too wide to fit.
