    Mags to spokes

I'm looking at switching to spoke wheels on my 78 gs750. From what I have read it should be pretty straight forward. But, still trying to figure out if I can use my current tires on the spoke rims-- diameters are the same, but can't figure out if width is ok. Will I need a different sprocket? On the front, can I take one of my rotors and put it on the spoke rim, so I can keep the dual disc set up? Thanks in advance, I've used search but still not clear on the details!

If you have stock rims on there for a 78' 750 the tires will swap over. You will not need a different sprocket, tires do not effect that. There are threaded holes in the spoked rim for a rotor on the right side all ready, just gently take off the black dust cover on that side, you'll see them. About the only thing you will possibly need for this conversion is new bearings for the spoked rims if they need them, and of course tubes!

You'll need to use both rotors off the cast wheel. The single disk rotors are a larger diameter.

Thanks guys, that sounds pretty straight forward. Simple enough that even I can do it!
